Initially drowned by artificially high water levels created by irrigation projects. This stump of a River Red Gum tree, stands in the dry bed of a lake near the small rural township of Euston on the Murray River, South Eastern Australia. Severe drought over a number of years resulting in many lakes drying up completely.
