Wambuul or Wiradjuri River, near Dubbo in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Formally known as the Macquarie River but renamed to its indigenous name by the NSW Government in 2021. Wambuul means winding river in the Wiradjuri language. Both Wambuul and Wiradjuri names maybe used for the rivers name.
