Chorisia speciosia or commonly call either Silk Floss Tree, or Kapok Tree.
Flowering late Autumn, Ceiba speciosa, or Silk Floss Tree, grows to around 235-30metres in height. It is not a native to Australia, although sometimes people think it is due to one of its common names, Kapok Tree. It is however related to Boab trees which are natively found in northern Australia,
