Monster tree.
Butt of dead and decaying River Red Gum (E camaldulensis), which takes on the appearance of a scary monster coming to get you. When actually it is only the decaying base of a long dead Eucalytus camaldulensis which has fallen prey to the gradual creek of climate change across a Murray Darling Basin flood plain.
